Dorotea Effenberger, a Zagreb native and economist by training, has made her mark as an entrepreneur. As the President of the Management Board and owner of Tahograf d.o.o., she has spent three decades transforming her father’s small business into a thriving regional enterprise with a workforce of over 100. Effenberger’s leadership extends beyond her company. She is an active participant in several Croatian businesswomen’s associations, leveraging her experience and skills to mentor others. Her goal is to enhance the role of women in business, championing female entrepreneurship, business culture, and collaboration. Her influence also reaches the international stage. She is a member of the German-Croatian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and holds a position on the Board of Directors for Croatian Exporters. This group is dedicated to advocating for and boosting Croatian exports. Adding to her accolades, Effenberger was chosen as an Ambassador of Women’s Entrepreneurship as part of the European Commission’s “European Network of Female Entrepreneurship” program. In this role, she aims to inspire others and foster entrepreneurship among women. Her journey serves as a testament to what women can achieve in the business world.
