Hailing from Zagreb, Croatia, Damjan Rudež is a retired professional basketball player with an impressive sixteen-year career. He played for thirteen teams across seven countries, including NBA teams like the Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Orlando Magic. In addition to his club career, he proudly represented Croatia in international competitions, such as the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2015 FIBA World Cup in Spain, three European Championships, and the Mediterranean Games. Rudež is currently broadening his horizons academically at the SDA Bocconi Business School in Milan and the University of Kinesiology in Zagreb. In 2021, post-retirement, Rudež transitioned into the business world by launching his own sports consulting company, DR9 International Sports & Media. Additionally, he holds the position of Program Director at the Sunset Sports Media Festival.
