Berislav Horvat, Country Managing Partner at EY Croatia, is an auditor, advocate, and promoter of entrepreneurship who believes that entrepreneurs can become leaders in our society. Throughout his career at Ernst & Young, he’s led numerous audit engagements in Croatia, working with a range of domestic and international clients. In addition to gaining expertise in auditing, he has been involved in in-depth analyses and has provided forensic and other advisory services to various industries. He is dedicated to delivering comprehensive client service and is responsible for launching the Business Advisory Department. He continually works on developing a wide range of EY services in Croatia and frequently collaborates with various international experts from EY. After assuming the role of Country Managing Partner in 2014, in line with EY’s global corporate strategy of building a better business environment, he initiated the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program to promote Croatian entrepreneurship and contribute to positive societal change. Since 2020, Berislav Horvat has been the President of the Croatian Chamber of Auditors, and from 2015 to 2019, he served as the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia. During that time, he was one of the key figures working on improving the business environment and increasing investments in Croatia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb and is a certified auditor with the Croatian Chamber of Auditors and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). Since 2019, in collaboration with the media platform Poduzetnik, EY Croatia and Berislav Horvat have been program partners for all conferences and projects under the umbrella name “Entrepreneurial Mindset.”
