In the past, influential people were exclusively celebrities such as athletes, actors, singers, TV personalities and politicians; but with the advent of social networks, everything has changed. In the not-so-distant past, people laughed at those who walked around town and talked into the camera, took photos of meals, and who couldn’t go for coffee without posting their location. Even today, many wonder if being an influencer is an occupation or just a hobby. But perhaps the old phrase holds true: He who laughs last, laughs loudest!
