Media expert Boris Trupčević has recently become the most renowned pilgrim among managers. This spring, he ‘left everything behind’ and set out to walk the path from France to the Atlantic. He has captured his experience of the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in a book titled ‘1000 Kilometers Back to Myself,’ which he is currently promoting.
Trupčević was the longtime editor-in-chief and CEO of ’24sata,’ director of Styria Media Group for Croatia, and president of the Croatian Newspaper Publishers’ Association. During his career, he also served as CEO of Večernji list, publishing director of Sanoma Magazines Zagreb (now Adria Media), editor-in-chief of Story magazine, and journalist and editor at Jutarnji list. He was a member of the board of directors in several European and global publishing associations, including the International News Media Association.
He is known as a digital evangelist and promoter of digital transformation. He is the founder of the Ponos Hrvatske (Pride of Croatia) award. After leaving the media industry, he served as the global CEO of the Swedish beauty-tech company FOREO, and today he is a consultant, startup angel investor, AI enthusiast, strategic advisor, and Nordic walker
