Pioneers in the development of robotic systems for demining, firefighting, and mining, the Zagreb-based company DOK-ING introduced an electric robotic fleet of remotely operated machines for underground platinum mining, known as Electric Narrow Reef Equipment (NRE), last year. This achievement is the result of the dedicated work of their engineers and robotic experts. In addition to their humanitarian demining efforts, where they hold an 80% share of the global market, they have also initiated successful research and development projects funded by European resources.

The company employs 124 people and sells 10% of its products domestically, while the remaining 90% are distributed in over 40 countries worldwide. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, they managed to maintain and improve their business operations in recent years. Their founder, chief innovator, and owner, Vjekoslav Majetić, was recently honored as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year and represented Croatia at the World EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition in Monaco in June 2023.

Vjekoslav Majetić founded DOK-ING d.o.o. in 1991, an engineering company with a focus on manufacturing robotic and autonomous systems.

Today, they are recognized as a global leader in integrating innovative systems that safeguard human lives and property in hazardous environments. Over the years, DOK-ING has successfully collaborated with numerous domestic and foreign governments, ministries, non-governmental organizations, and commercial enterprises.
