MEETING: content-audience-platform
“Meeting” is HRT’s (Croatian Radiotelevision) innovative internet platform tailored for Generation Z, offering content of public significance in an engaging, humorously provocative manner. This platform has been carefully designed, taking into account extensive research on the mental health and media preferences of young people.
By selecting themes that resonate with our target audience, “Meeting” showcases protagonists whose personal experiences and authenticity stimulate thought-provoking reactions. This unique approach promotes the importance of diversity and mutual respect.
In its inaugural season, “Meeting” navigates the complexities of romantic relationships, debunking myths and confronting issues ranging from gender stereotypes and sexuality to violence and online relationships. Some of the myths tackled include: ‘Boys don’t cry!’, ‘The more relationships, the better’, ‘Jealousy is a sign of love’, and ‘Sex before marriage is (not) a sin’.
Recently concluded Season 02 shifted focus to friendship, family dynamics, mental and physical health, living standards, and finances. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for an exciting Season 03.
“Meeting” features video episodes of varied lengths, tailored to their hosting platforms. It was developed in accordance with the new Children and Youth Program Development Strategy, in collaboration with eminent researchers, Miranda Novak and Sanja Radić Bursać from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences.
