To live forever—a dream or an imperative?

The dream of eternal life is almost as old as humanity itself. There are countless myths and stories about the heroes who succeeded and those who suffered in the search for immortality. Meanwhile, medicine has advanced so much that drugs and therapies have been developed to treat nearly all known diseases, but they still remain inaccessible to many. How were patients treated a hundred years ago, what do we know today, why are some life-saving drugs unavailable to those in need, where will the development of medicine lead us and who will pay for it all? These are some of the tough questions that will be answered by top local doctors, academics and experts.
