Robots are among us

Robotics is one of the fastest-growing areas of research and commercial application in the world today. From working endless fields of arable land to mining deep in the earth, research laboratories to warehouses, and even in your own home — robots are everywhere. If you haven’t noticed them by now, it’s time to ask yourself where are all these robots, what do they look like and what do they do? Should you be afraid of a robot taking your job next year and how do you make sure that doesn’t happen? These and many other questions will be answered at the lecture: “Robots among us.”
