The largest regional conference Weekend Media Festival will once again gather leading experts and enthusiasts from the world of media, marketing and communications on September 22-25 in Rovinj. This year’s event will be further enriched by the Golden Drum, an international creative festival, which, for the first time, features as part of the Weekend, on September 23.
The Golden Drum festival presents one of the most recognizable combinations of the creative, marketing and advertising industries in the European advertising space. The festival is known for its profound influence on the development and shaping of the entire communication industry not only in Europe, but beyond its borders as well.
“This year, Golden Drum is embarking on a unique journey to Rovinj, a charming Istrian town not far from Portorož, Slovenia. The beginning of autumn will be welcomed with a celebration of creativity and inventiveness on the beautiful Croatian coast,” said Mojca Briščik, president of Golden Drum.
Every year, the Golden Drum festival celebrates the best ideas, the most successful creative teams and skilled individuals who effectively bring innovative ideas to life and thus leave their mark on the industry. The main theme of the competition this year is “Rebuilding Connection”. And in addition to the existing list of prestigious awards, Golden Drum 2022 is introducing two new ones – Production Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year.
