HOW TO STAY HEALTHY, WHEN I AM CONSTANTLY SITTING AT WORK? FRIDAY 11:15 – 12:00
Today’s way of life is manifested by a sedentary lifestyle contributed by technological advancement, and it is manifested by physical inactivity. Many of the tasks executed during the day are done under a constant light load, where the neck and back muscles suffer the most. Such conditions are manifested by fatigue and exhaustion, headache, lack of concentration and difficulty in circulation, and the final result is a chronic injury followed by painful conditions.
Given the increasing demands of the business world, the question arises as to whether exercise at the workplace should be necessary. Whose responsibility is it to take care of physical health in a business environment? And how can we all contribute to increasing our own and our collective physical and overall well-being?
Ergonomic training is a preventive program that includes awareness of the dangers at work and practical training in the use of the workspace as well as your own body in the work environment. The sedentary mode, excessively active physical work or a lot of time spent in the car can affect the musculoskeletal system and cause difficulties, painful conditions and even injuries. This training is intended for employees in the work collective, to prevent the stated conditions, but also to detect existing difficulties and define a plan of actions.
